Why join SKY?

The benefits of membership

Our founders came, saw, and realized that the seniors community of Bowen Island might need a little something more.

​

They saw an opportunity to create programs that would create a sense of community, bolster physical and mental well-being and provide some opportunities to have some fun!

Today, Seniors Keeping Young offers a variety of social and wellness oriented acitivities: from yoga to mahjong, from guest speakers to "hangout" time, and even organized day trips that take members out and about in our beautiful province.

A modest annual membership fee gains you access to all of our programming throughout the year.

Bowen Island residents aged 55 years and older are eligible to become Members of SKY. Those under the age of 55 years are eligible to be SKY Associates.

SKY's Basic annual fee of $25 applies to Individual and Associate Members, the annual fee for Couples residing at the same Bowen Island address is $35.
